Two Ways to Wear...Seven Times! A Winter Equation

Wearing something different every day doesn’t mean wearing net new pieces every day. It means getting creative with mixing and matching the pieces you already have to find new life in them...over and over. A single piece in my closet can play a role in so different outfits. According to my Stylebook app, I’ve worn some pieces upwards of 20 times—now that’s a good return on investment!

As a working gal who pays for all of my own clothing, yet someone who always wants to look fresh at the office, I lean on pieces that can be used to build many, many outfits off of. Add the fact that it’s winter, my least favorite and most uninspiring outfit season, and the matching making game is even more important to breath life into my #ootds.

I took a shopping hiatus in January and, there have been very few clothing purchases in February—please don’t let me buy one more sweater! Time to dig deep into the closet and get extra creative to finish out winter.

Hopefully, a few of my pairings below will be your inspiration to remix some winter pieces that are hanging in your closet, just waiting for another wear!
