Twice a year I hit the reset button on my closet by swapping my winter and summer clothing in preparation of the upcoming season.  I've got it down to a science in eight steps.  Read on to follow my process in photos.

The saying “time flies when you’re having fun” is so very appropriate for the one year anniversary of Magenta Blazer!  I’ve had a blast sharing my outfits and my antics with you these last 365 days!  Looking back, there’ve been some unexpected surprises and some really magical moments that make all the outfit planning so worth it.

A shopping spree used to consist of dedicating a large portion of the day to walking store to store, trying on a bunch of clothes and carrying your purchases with you along the way.  Today my shopping habits look very different.

I’ve come to rely on my field jacket as a piece that pulls a whole outfit together with very little effort.  If you're stuck with a simple jeans and tee situation, you can throw on a field jacket to add texture and structure.  

I finally found my perfect fitting olive green skinnies, but I was having a hard time coming up with outfits.  After a couple wears, I found four fun ways to show them off.

I committed to only taking a carry on,  even though I'd need to pack my heaviest clothing and lots of layers for four nights. This was a fun challenge I was willing to accept.
